Hey everyone! Just wanted to get a page going to help each other out with the process at Scripps!

what do you guys know about the varied start dates? The same application was for starting in january or starting in March. Do they let us choose?

I'd really like to know about this also...I need to start in March if given the chance

I just received a background check email! So there's still hope! I applied for the oncology department. My application didn't change to "under review" until Oct 5th, and it just updated to "hiring manager review" today.

I received an email for an interview yesterday. Mine is for La Jolla! My email also stated that I they had not received a complete Talent Mine Assessment? I finished mine right after I had applied for this position and my results show when I log in. Is there a step I am missing? I went ahead and emailed them the link to my results just in case. I have tried calling but of course, all I get is the answering machine.

Also, did anyone else choose no preference as far as unit? I have previous NICU experience I want to find my way back there, but I will take what I can get! I'm just not sure what kind of questions I am going to be going up against since I'm not sure what unit I am interviewing for.

I emailed back yesterday saying that I did complete the assessment previously and she emailed back this morning that I was all set to go!

I didn't know there was a choice to be in the system wide program or the DEU? I'm wondering if all the applicants who chose no preference got the DEU in La Jolla?

Yesterday I received the official interview email for October 24th at Mercy San Diego. In the email it asked me to complete the Talent Mine assessment. Does anyone know how the process works in terms of which department you interview with? I applied no preference and it does not specify a department in the interview. Will I be applying for the hospital in general?

I just read on FB that if your interviewing at a location other than La Jolla, then if chosen..you will start on the floor of the manager you impressed the most. I guess you won't know until you get hired from what I'm getting if you put no preference.
