Scripps Health New Grad Residency August/October 2023

Hi guys! Just wanted to start a post for the cohort for August/October 2023. Just curious if anyone would know the answer to this but it says on their FAQs PDF that there is only positions in units like med/surge or telemetry however during the application, there were choices like medical acute and surgical acute. Does anyone know if those units are hiring or not? And if we could apply to multiple units?

I missed sharps Summer cohort deadline but I know ucsd and radys childrens already are interviewing for the Summer cohort you may need to wait for fall if you're planning for san Diego! However, I know Kaiser is opening their apps for fall cohort around July since I emailed!

What's the difference between "in process" vs "In consideration?” Is it the same thing?

I'm not sure! Have you been contacted for an interview with the hiring managers? Maybe that means hiring managers started looking at your app!

From what I can tell the only people who have heard back are all from the La Jolla location.

Yeah I know someone who is not on this thread who heard back and it was also from the La Jolla location.

I'm hoping to hear back soon. I'm out-of-state so I already feel like my chances are much lower. To my knowledge, interviews continue through next week, so there's still a little more time!
