Just wondering if anyone else has applied to the S&W nurse intern program for summer 2015! Would love to keep up to date with everyone and see how the whole thing is progressing! They just opened up the applications the other day :) Good luck!

Congrats to those who already got offered jobs! :up: That must be such an amazing feeling. I have not heard anything back from McLanes either. I also applied to the adult ICU but have not heard anything back.

Congrats on getting offered job at Baylor! How long after the interview were you offered the position? What all did you bring to interview. I'm so nervous :(

I have applied for NICU intern in Scott and White. I have ADN but 1 year 6 months experience in NICU and total of 2 years as RN. The recruiter sent me pre-screening questions but no calls yet. Good luck to everyone!

I'm paranoid now. Are these intern positions only for people who have graduated and have RN? I applied and graduate this May.

No. I don't grad until may 2015. Haven't heard from er picu or children's er. I know lots of students from last semester that grad in December who got jobs at sw intern at their OR ER PICU and Medsurg.

Internship was for those without experience. You can work under GN license

I guess I was reading over it and it said "requirement: RN licensure"...but that's because we can apply before graduating, work under GN license before getting RN licensure?

I actually emailed HR before I submitted my applications. I told them that I was going to graduate in May and was wondering if I was eligible for the nurse intern jobs. This is what they replied, "We have planned some start dates for July. Please feel free to apply."

The medsurg job I was offered starts June 29. They said they wanted to give everyone time to take NCLEX.

I got a call from McLanes and have an interview on Friday!!!!
