scool/work conflict

I have a pt time job(work one day a week, & everyother weekend). Well, I got my schedule set for fall, but I only have Thursday's free to work. and my weekend. My problem is that work is not happy,telling me that I might have to drop my hours (& lose the only insurance my family has) They are telling me that it will be to hard for the other staff. (I am a CNA on a PCU floor) I am thinking of droping Chemistry. I also have AP1, but think I need that before Chem. Was hoping to get your opinion before I went to file a drop of class.

i was on my work to work when i was posting and replying yesterday and each time i hit the submitt button, it led me to believe it has not sent it. so, i tried a few times.

I'd say, try to talk with the other CNA about switching days with her any time that you can-school holidays, etc., and see if she is more amenable to helping you. If not, Chemistry can wait-you absolutely need A & P more, at this point. Good luck!

thanks , I am just going to drop Chem. The other aid is pretty young, likes to go "out" I just know that I am going to have to drop sooner or later. Would rather drop now without having to pay later.

I hope it all works out for you. I would try and work it out with your work, if not have you considered another job maybe at a new facility? One that might be a little more understanding? Don't give up your first job until you have landed a new one.
