Hello AN!

I just passed the TEAS 6 at Schoolcraft this past Friday (after not scoring well enough in science on the TEAS 5 earlier this year). All of my pre-reqs have been accepted (from HFCC and Davenport, where I completely my LPN last year) and am now just waiting for contact from the school after submitting my resume and hours worked.

I'm starting this thread to keep in touch with other Fall 2017 hopefuls, as well as alumni of this program to give us insight.

Thanks in advance.

I wish you luck! I applied in September for the ADN program and was placed in Fall 2018. Took about two weeks for them to get back to me. Not sure how the bridge program works though. Just trying to give a baseline. :)

Update: I received my letter in the mail today that I am listed for the Fall 2017 LPN to ADN cohort.

Any Schoolcraft Nursing alumni that can give me insight on the scheduling of classes/clinical for the program?

That's great. I didnt know that they would let you know early if you got in. This post has motivated me to schedule my Teas exam and apply to the program now instead of wasting money taking prerequisites for other programs as back up.

Hi! I was surprised at how few pre requisites were required in order to apply for the nursing program. I have one more class to take and then I need to take the TEAS exam, hoping I will still make it in for Fall 2018 as well.

Hello there! So glad to be in contact with a future classmate! I too received a letter stating that I have been added to the list for Fall 17! Did your letter state the same and not much else other than contact info and that you could continue taking classes toward your bsn? Just wondering what our next step should be...TIA!

Called the nursing office today and was informed that I should be receiving my acceptance letter for the Fall 2017 LPN Advanced Placement program. I am so excited, but I will feel better once I have that official acceptance letter.

Congrats girl you made it happen!! Excited for you.

Yes, the letter was very "generic". I emailed the nursing office today for more info, as I do not know how Schoolcraft goes since I am a transfer student.

So I finally got my acceptance letter for the 2017 Fall start for Lpn to Rn! I emailed the school about the packet for titers physical and etc. I was informed that they start to send those out in April. I am so excited!

I will also be in the bridge program! Excited to receive more info this month and get my ducks in a row for a great year!
