School supplies for lpn at lincoln tech

Hello Everyone!

I was wondering if anyone could let me know about what supplies I need for LPN classes at Lincoln Tech might be. I start in September. I am so excited to finally have gotten accepted and getting closer to becoming a nurse!! wooohoooo!!

It has been a long journey in getting here so I am super happy!!

I am very organized and I am stressing because I want to get a start on getting my supplies. I am seriously getting anxious!

I have the basics on a list...but I am wanting more detailed information. Is there a PDF maybe someone could send me? Or just anyone who has recently started the program that could give me a heads up?

Also, I know we need white sneakers. What in your opinion are the best sneakers for nursing school?

I dont have clinical supplies listed because I am unsure of what we need. I already have a good stethoscope.

hey which LTI are you attending i assume your doing the 12month program? i have been in it since march 11' and as for clinical youll need a pen light, blood pressure cuff, white sneaks, (i have nike shox there comffy) and a binder/folder for clinical supplys. a little pocket notebook works great when your doing vitals / chart review.

It never hurts to have some alcohol swabs in your pocket, as well as extra gloves.

What are the guidelines for the white sneakers? Do they have to be all white??

I am looking into the nike shox, but to get 100% white including the swoosh,you have to order them. I know lady foot locker has the white ones but not all white.
