School Supplies: Anything out of the ordinary needed?!

I know you folks love your school supplies and I was reading through and seeing people were getting a lot of binders, notecards, etc.

Is there anything outside the normal school supply list that you'd suggest purchasing?

I noticed someone said something about a special kind of student nurse planner?

Any advice outside the norm would be helpful!

Yes, splurge (: It's definitely worth it.

Sorry sh1901, I didn't have any issues with my check out. I actually ordered the add-on piece instead of the actual stand my first time around, and they personally e-mailed me asking if it may be a mistake and let me change my order to the right thing... awesome company.

The book stand is a great idea. I am trying to order one now and I'm having trouble with it. I try to add it to my cart but it keeps telling me my cart is empty. I guess I'll keep trying.

Buy a 1/2 gallon or gallon size jug of Tylenol & Motrin. :)

the uncalendar looks like it could work for me...I usually buy planners but never use them. But with this you're able to customize it yourself, which is great! thanks for sharing it

This may sound weird, but the best thing I got for nursing school was a good set of pots/pans/knives. I cook to help relax from school plus I always had good leftovers for class.

That's not weird at all. I love to cook and it's a great way to relax, so I've been thinking about buying some new kitchen gadgets so that I can do more cooking when school starts.

The UnCalendar is awesome. I love that they take into account those of use who like to scribble notes and doodle. :)

I got the full-size Lifestyle version. In red!

I also ordered the bookstand off the advice here and it came yesterday. It is great and definitely can stand up to my Med/Surg book, which is over 2000 pages long!

You have the full-size Lifestyle version right? Not the Full-Size Lifestyle Pro? I can't really tell the difference between the two online.
