I know you folks love your school supplies and I was reading through and seeing people were getting a lot of binders, notecards, etc.
Is there anything outside the normal school supply list that you'd suggest purchasing?
I noticed someone said something about a special kind of student nurse planner?
Any advice outside the norm would be helpful!
THANKS! :)

Omg, yes. You have to get one of these........

I highly recommend it.. It's a book stand, to stand your books up so you don't kill your neck/back by bending over them on your desk. Best investment I've ever made.. really. I used to have to take a ton of breaks reading because my neck would start to hurt.. but now, with this, I can just sit up straight in my chair and read ! And it's wicked durable. My 1900 page fundamentals book fits on it just fine... Get one (:

I just got the student nurse planner. I do not really care for it as far as keeping up with my schedule. But - it does have some good info in it also. I will take it with me to class for reference but I went to Officemax and bought a regular academic planner for keeping my schedule and assignments organized.

Bananimal- I love that idea...I'm thinking of getting it...it's a little pricey but will be worth it. Will be especially nice for typing up my care plans I think, instead of trying to type up the rationale flipping down, reading whats on my lap, then back to the computer. Thank you!

This may sound weird, but the best thing I got for nursing school was a good set of pots/pans/knives. I cook to help relax from school plus I always had good leftovers for class.
I'm sure if you did a little bit of a search online you could find a cheaper one. Or if you're craft, you could probably make one (: I think it's totally worth the money I spent though.
yea, I did some research, found some but look liked poor quality. So I'm going to splurge and get it! I deserve something to save my neck..my back is already messed up from work.

I just LOVE this idea. I've had horrible neck problems every since I started school.
I just tried to order this and hit a snag when trying to check out. I'm having issues with BOTH paypal and google check out. GRRRRR......
Anyone else ordering this and having a problem, or is it just me?
I'm just ordering it now, you can get it from Amazon.com. Only bad thing is it doesn't qualify for super savings shipping. But I'm an Amazon member and it has all my account information.

Get a coffee maker, you'll need it (if you're a coffee drinker like me!) :chuckle
