Hi everyone! I'm planning to enroll next semester but I don't have any idea which school offers a 2-year RN course (as nursing would be my second course). Any idea also about how much it would cost me? Please help guys! Looking forward to your replies... Thanks much in advance! :nurse:

Welcome

Moved to the Philippine forum, Check it out as I amsure there are already some threads on second coursers

from what course are you from?

You can try Cebu Doctor's University. You'll start as first year but training is good. Their passing rate is also good. just send me a pm for further inquiries....

a lot of respectable good school of nursing in cebu. cebu doctors, sounthwestern, velez, san carlos and UC you btter chck personally to this call or check at the resgistrar.

try contacting cebu doc, southwes, velez, san carlos and Uc this are just few of school of nursing in cebu but has been tested there product already. call the registrar for your further questions. goodluck

tnx very much guys! :)

velez does not accept second coursers....

cebu doc, UC, Southwestern and San Carlos accepts second coursers.

Cebu Doc: back to first year

UC and SWU: second year

USC: no idea

Try CNU (http://cnu.edu.ph/), they still offer BSN for second coursers if I'm not mistaken. Inquire about the BSN-HAP course.

Be aware that your government is making drastic changes to the second courser programs and is currently trying to close many of them down. Please check things out thoroughly before signing up for any program at this time and also be aware that at minimum an additional year is being added for those that are permitted to remain open.

Much has already been written on this, but needs to be discussed and everyone aware of what is going on right now.

cnu, cdu, swu, uv accepts 2nd coursers (in order of passing rate). the rest are not worth mentioning. It would be better if your first course is health-care related.
