anyone applying for the RN program at Suffolk Community College - Fall 2014??
It it such a competitive program and only a limited number of seats, but I feel we should be positive! It's still a way better chance for us to be wait listed than denied outright ! I'm sure a good amount of people will turn down their seat because they got in elsewhere keep your chin up! We got this !! I've just turned into a bit of a nut obsessively checking the MYSCCC page 4 times a day and scouring the internet for wait list experiences haha..

I've been doing the same...Haha! I've read some from back in 2010, some people from the wait list got in. So anxious to find out.
Got my acceptance letter on Friday, so happy . I'm confused about the tuition deposit slip/$100 deposit, however. What's that all about? Are they going to send me something else in the mail on Monday? Is it retrievable from the site? Or do I have to head over to the campus to fill it out.
I also noticed someone said something about accepting a seat before the 26th, is that for everyone? How do I officially accept a seat, by sending in the deposit?
Seems strange that some people who be allotted 5 days to accept while some others have 12 days, etc.
A little insight for anyone on the wait list:
I have been trying and trying to get in touch with someone at the school and I finally did ! The woman in admissions didn't really help me much, all she said is that there is really only a handful of people on the wait list so I guess that's good news... I was asking when I should expect to hear if I get accepted and she said up to the first day of classes... LOL... Ugh. I got the feeling I'm just going to have to keep calling and checking.
Maybe I should try to get through to the nursing dept??

All that were accepted have until the 26th to accept their seat and put a deposit down on their tuition. You had to be right on the borderline with your gpa, you still have a chance.
