Laura - Sorry I just saw this post. I only got an 82, which at first I was upset about. I studied A LOT! Looking back, I don't even know what more I could have done besides memorize every box in the chapters. Some of those questions were so crazy!!! Now I am worried for the next exam because I am not spending as much time studying as I was for the first due to all the written assignments and studying for the dosage calc.

How did you do? Were you happy with your grade? How is everything else going? Clinical, Care Plans, Dosage Calc?

Hey Shannon -

I got an 80 and felt I really was prepared and like you just said I feel less prepared for this upcoming test too - all these projects its nuts! I would have like an 85-90 of course but I'll take my 80 - there are a lot of people from what I have been over hearing that did under 80 and some failed.. I'm on chp 12 for daosage and calc and this chapter is tough for me for some reason - and I have stopped in order to study for the test - I am going to do the last few math chapters after the exam... Care plan was just very time consuming and our professor had us do the 10 drugs ( which is actually for the 2nd careplan ) but we had to do it - not hard just long time to do... Good luck on the next test and lab test in two weeks - its so much so fast I feel... And so much self teaching, its crazy

People keep telling me that a B in a nursing program is like an A in real life, ahahah. I am going with that!!! OH MY GOD THE CARE PLAN...I can't believe you had to do the drugs., that's awful. For some reason, the nursing diagnoses along with the r/t and AEB took me FOREVER..no joke. I just couldn't wrap my brain around it.

What is funny is that I wrote this last week and I was stressing about dosage calc...now I am stressing about the IM injection because we haven't even learned it yet and the test is like next week....I guess this is why they say the nursing programs are hard =)

All we can do it keep on keeping on! We will get through this! GOOD LUCK!

I know its kinda crazy we are a Monday lab and I will learn the IM and SubQ this Monday and I have scheduled skills time 11/4 and test on the 7th and right before the Dosage Test UGH same day COM'ON - nuts

if a B is like an A - I will go with that as well... Nervous about this test, been doing so many projects but I have this weekend to lock myself away and study. We did our 1st night in the hospital last night little nervous but all good

I just hope I pass teh math test - I have to still do chapter 12,13,14 and 15 ( I heard 13 is just review and shortcuts so really 3 chapters left

Did you hear feed back from people after the test? how did the people you talked to after the 1st test do?

How did everyone do on the IM & SubQ practical and dosage exam? It was so stressful but I did well on both.. I hope everyone else did well:)

Yes! Lol! I think everyone from our clinical group did well.. I took the day off from anything nursing:)
