My testing date is set: February 6th, 2010... I feel so overwhelmed already! I am studying Saunders but it is taking forever. I feel like there's so much I have already forgotten and so much I still have to go through...
Any advice? Tips on studying? Comments on any reviews you have taken? Lord help me!

As a nursing educator, first step is to try to eliminate the "Scared" or "Fear" attitude. You need to walk into your testing center with a can-do and a positive, confident attitude. Walking in extremely petrified or with a lack of confidence would only be setting yourself up for failure.
My advice that I always give to your students: Focus on just answering as many NCLEX style questions from more than one resource as possible. I believe you should not read content or textbooks unless there was a particular question you did not understand or remember at all. I like to recommend practicing at least 100 questions per day.
I also recommend reviewing med cards which can be purchased at any bookstore or on online resources as well on a daily basis.
But the focus really at this point is to do NCLEX style questions over and over again! If you were a student who struggled during the nursing program, then investing in a comprehensive NCLEX review wouldn't hurt either.

THANK U Paramount Nurse.
Been 2yrs since I sat for NCLEX.
Taking your advice on this one.
Thank you so much for the encouragement ParamountNurse :) You are right; I need to have a good attitude! Right now I am going though a comprehensive Saunder's NCLEX review book and it seems to be helping. I do think I need to do more questions though...

Whenever you start to get overwhelmed by the negative feelings, take a deep breath and tell yourself that you are going to conquer another concept or another question with rationales. Replace negative thinking with positive action. On the day of the test, go and take it. That is your positive action for that day. Good luck.

RNGradDec2009: I took my test three weeks ago and I used this two books as well as others and I would suggest that you should also use Exam Cram book and Prioritization, Delegation Assignment BY Linda A. LaCharity. This two books are really good, and would help you. They do ask lots of prioritization, delegation questions. Exam Cram has similar questions as Nclex test. I hope this helps. Good Luck.

Thanks for checking on me. Nope, haven't taken the test yet. I take it this week! I feel ready now :) Wish me luck!
Took the test and I passed it! THANK YOU GOD! Here's what worked for me: Hurst Review, Saunders book and doing questions over and over and over. Also, like so many people said, having a positive attitude was key. :p
