I graduated on May 16th and have been looking for a RN job since February. I've gone on 4 interviews and have not been job offered.
I was forced to go back to the corporate world to make ends meet.
I take boards on July 8. Been studying non stop since the end of May.
Today, I got a call from a nurse recruiter of a Level I Trauma teaching hospital. She asked me a few questions and stated the hospital was building a new SICU/MICU/Stepdown Telemetry unit that will open in December and they are looking to hire new grads and experienced nurses to be part of the team. After a brief conversation, she offered me an interview with the ICU manager!
I couldnt be more excited!
Now, I am asking for everyone on this board to keep me in your prayers, for one, that I pass NCLEX and for two I get the job!
I do have another job in corporate that doesnt start until July 20, so if I get hired for this ICU that is opening up in December, it is fine with me. I'll work the job I have now until then.
Please lift me up in prayers! I really need it!
And btw, please offer any suggestions on interviewing tips!
