I am currently taking practice tests on the 4th ed. Saunders book and I want to know what percent I should be shooting for on the exams or assessment?

I was getting in the high 70s - low 80s and was told I'd be fine. I kept studying anyway, though, and ended up in the high 80s - low 90s. Passed with 75 questions.

When I used the 3rd edition of Saunders to study, I was getting around 75% on my exams. Apparently that was not enough as I did not pass the NCLEX so I would go for 80 - 90%!

Getting 80% and above on those practice exam on Sauders 4th edition CD will give you confidence in preparing for that NCLEX-RN exam. Ideally, your scores should be in this range so that you will gain that positive confidence. Just try to do 100 questions or more a day and at least allot 2 hours of review and you will do fine. I passed this exam with just two weeks of self review using this Saunder's CD and it did helped me a lot to build my confidence.

I was aiming for 80% all the time...but got around to just making mostly around 70-ish percent%...or sometimes even only above 60% on bad days...
I passed the exam at 75 questions....
My husband never had the patience, though. He always always gets 50% (maybe he's plain lazy or something....)...but he passed at 80 questions in the NCLEX.
