hi sophieanne 1213 y dont u try passport renew.,
I already tried going online to set an appointment at the DFA for passport renewal and the earliest available date is on dec. 28, i am worried that I may not make it within my time-frame of month. This is a new procedure in getting or renewal of passport.
sophieanne1213 what i mean is passport delivery system as far as i know it is the most fastest way to get passport renewal.. try to search lbc passport delivery,.
i also tried that but they are still directing me to dfa's new system which is setting an appointment which will depend on the next available date, in my case is december 28 (again that's too long)
Hi!
1. if your school gave you a claim stub just present it to the security guard at the dfa gate then you will be advised to get a number and wait for your cue. 14 days is quite fast! nice school admin you have there, got mine for nearly a month.
2. go to prc and ask the security guard where to get a form regarding board certificate authentication and they will gladly help you with your queries. They also have this mail stuff, i think it is DHL, after paying the required amount you can give them your claim stub and they will be the one to claim it at dfa and deliver your document right at your doorsteps,no hassle, but of course it's optional. you can always opt out for the do-it-yourself stuff.:)
3. you can have it notarized in your city of residence and also have it certified as well, by your city or municipal rtc. have it certified in the rtc where you notarized it. ex. notarized at manila city hall, rtc- metropolitan trial court(it is just beside manila city hall). notarial and rtc fees are separate and might cost you Php500-700 all-in.
if you're still confused with the rtc thing you can always ask the city official/notary person about it.
hope this helps.
Hi! Anyone here who can give the step-by-step procedure for DFA Authentication? Which floor, room or building should we go to? Fees to pay?1. College diploma & TOR:
I called my school and they said that I just need to bring a xerox copy of my TOR and College diploma and they will forward it to CHED, fees: P500. They will also give me a control number (claim stub) so I could claim my documents at DFA (14 working days)
2. Board Certificate:
(I have no idea where in PRC I should go to, please help)
3. COE:
(Can I have it notarized in my city of residence? or in Manila City Hall only? What about the RTC? what will I do there?- very clueless!)
I hope someone who is knowledgeable about this would give some information to also help others who are processing their documents.
Thank you in advance for your help and God bless all of us!
hi....does anyone here know how to get the prometric certificate aunthenticated??....thanks!
i hope this helps as well. :)
1. college diploma, tor, and rle - bring xerox copy and original to your school, have it authenticated by them then bring it to CHED. In my case, it was the CHED who sent the papers to dfa manila for red ribbon, they will just give you a claim stub as to when you will claim them at DFA Manila already.
2. Board cert and prc id, and board rating cert. - have these xeroxed already also, just ask the guard at prc what window you will go for authentication for the purpose of red ribboning at dfa, They will authenticate these docs and again in my case, they were the one who sent it to dfa manila, they just gave me a claim stub.
3. COE - signatories should be chief nurse and medical director and should carry the official letterhead of the hosp and dry sealed too. Bring this to RTC notarization by the executive judge, you will need the original copy for this. This also applies to the prometric exam if you took it but only the xerox copy will be the one notarized but of course, present the original for verification. These 2 documents - bring to DFA
DFA will charge you 100.00 per document. To be safe, just bring 1000 which I guess is more than enough already

@rachelle
On our briefing with POEA, someone asked Ms. Tess regarding the authentication of Prometric. She said you just need to authenticate the test result itself.
@auspicious
gee.. Manila RTC is quite expense. I'm glad I got mine here in Muntinlupa for only 100. Notarization of docs is free for those who are resident of Muntinlupa.
