Guys I have a question. I just renewed my NBI clearance last Sept. 26 and unfortunately it's only for employment purposes. Does that mean I need to get another one? For travel abroad? Shucks!

Yes, it should state for travel abroad - Saudi Arabia.

POEA needs NBI clearance (for travel abroad) it may be for employment purposes or just plain travel.

Hi! I have a friend who is also interested in applying at KSA-MOH @ POEA. She wants to know if her private duty nurse experience (her only post-graduate experience) will "Count" as an experience? If so, how's the employment certificate? She told me that her first patient is in USA already and her second cancer patient already died just this September.

Also will that be an advantage to her, salary-wise? Or not since it's not hospital work experience...

Please help my friend. We're planning to apply together at KSA this November.

I'm so confused at the moment and I need your advice..

I finished my application at SRO(MOH-HOP) last may. I had my final evaluation and everything and I'm just waiting for their text for my flight sched. Up to now I don't received any text from them regarding my flight sched or whatever pertains to my application. I went to their office a few weeks ago and they told me they had a problem at the moment and we just have to wait for their text. Its been 6 months of waiting and I don't get any assurance from them that we will be deployed within this year or early next year. I decided to withdraw my documents from them but the others who didn't withdraw their documents haven't got it yet.. I want to look for another opportunity in other agencies but I can't afford to let go some amounts that I have paid (medical, authentication, visa fee and encoding) though small but it's still quite big for since I am unemployed at the moment. Others would say that I just have to wait for their text.. What would be the best possible thing I could do now?

Please give any advice..

We are in same boat dear. I'm already pissed with what's happening with my application in SRO. Did they really tell you that they are still unsure if we can have are flight sched before the year ends?

I'm still waiting for their text though because most of the agencies I know don't entertain nurses who don't have clinical experience. SRO by far is the only agency here in the Philippines who are willing to deploy inexperienced nurses.

I'm praying that we can go to Saudi before the year ends.

I have read somewhere in this thread that a board certificate is required. Is this referring to the diploma-like certificate with a picture on it or the certificate of board passing and rating that we got from the PRC before the license was given?

If it is the diploma-like certificate, where and how long will it take for me to get it if I am a June 2008 passer?

Is it really necessary for application at KSA MOH?

What they mean is an actual license with a number that is actually assigned to you. They want you to be holding an actual license with a number on it before they will do anything with your application. That you passed the exam does not meet their requirements.

Yes, I already have my license. Some said on this thread that a board certificate is still required and I want to know what board certificate they're talking about.
