Stars it could be a liver issue, but if no symptoms then perhaps not

Tweety that is sad even though it wasn't  your dog.  That is a strange situation at work

Hi Diana

Ado that was good of you to invite her

NJ22 yep it is.  And easy to spend a lot of time there

Did my bird watching yesterday,  then drove to the Art Institute and back.  Was there maybe an hour and a half.  Was interesting, haven't been there in 5-10 years but still remember a lot of the paintings.  Got home before traffic got really bad.  Ordered Chinese and exercised and worked on the shopping list for the  upcoming week.

Today the environmental group is meeting some place north of the city as usual,  going to join them.  Decided to only do that once a month.  Thankfully the weather will be nice, mid 70s with no rain.  Then will have lunch with dad as usual

Svengoolie was War of the Colossal Beast, can't remember if that's any good

Morning.

Had my 16 year old momma mush dog euthanized last night.  She was in terrible pain with a huge tumor in her left rear leg.  I'm thankful that the vet came to the cabin, she deserved to have a peaceful end of life. My spouse is out of state.

TMB, so sad, but merciful to do, if she was in pain.

TMB, I'm so sorry for your loss.

I told my brother-in-law the one gift she gave was that she didn't put either of us through the agony of having to euthanize her.  Mother Nature took care of that.  I took her to his vet, a good 45 minutes away from my house, to fulfill his wish to have her cremated and put in a box with her name to match his other late dog's urn.  I was put in a room which was obviously one to counsel people whose pets have died because of some brochures there.  I was surprised that Vet himself actually came in to talk to me.  I explained what happened.  He said he would examine her and then take care of things.  I suppose he needed to check for signs of abuse or obvious signs of death.  He awkwardly told me the company would give him a hard time about payment since my brother-in-law hadn't paid.  I immediately agreed to pay.  I was surprised it was only $260.  I'm sure my BIL will pay me or they'll credit me if he pays them.  I won't make an issue of it.

I had used $13 of my Starbucks for a large coffee, a water and a small grilled cheese prior to the drive and it was good.  I stopped by Whole Foods there on the way home and picked up a few things I normally don't see in the mainstream store.

I took a nap for over two hours which will mess up my whole sleeping pattern but didn't sleep much last night.

I'm going to make a Walmart run for a part for a plumbing issue I'm having and browse.

Have a great day.
