While i know we can't post inclex questions, id like to hear from someone who recently took the NCLEX RN in regrads to SATA: 1) did you feel the questions were "entry level nursing questions"?2) did you feel like they were s/s? 3) has anyone gotten a bunch of them and failed? Kaplan say's if you get a bunch, not to worry cause your doing well. Then some people are getting them so early in the exam that it doesn't seem like an accurate theory(Kaplan).
I took mine Saturday and felt like fifty were SATA questions, two ordering, two pictures, two calculations, one may have been an exhibit (I feel like there was one but I may be thinking of the tutorial), and rest multiple choice. I'm still waiting on my results. I don't know if I felt that they were entry level questions. The first ten were select all that apply an then I finally had a picture. I called a friend balling about how unfair it was they had so many sata.

Steve McQueen's character in Papillon (or was it The Great Escape? Pretty much the same guy, anyway) shows how throwing a ball against a wall relieves boredom and tension. Is that what you mean? Or is it something more X-rated, that also being a good tension reliever? Though you probably wouldn't be on the phone then.
If you mean, "in tears," you mean "bawling." :)
Welcome to nursing. It's almost ALL "select all that apply." Almost nobody only has one thing wrong with him.
Over half of mine was SATA. I got 75 and have been getting the good pop up. It was very difficult, but it was my test to become an RN. I expected it to be tough . I would say that I probably only got 3 questions where all the answers I picked were "golden, for-sure answers". I just had to reason my way through. I didn't necessarily think they weren't "entry level" questions, they just usually weren't the ones I wanted and would have been 100% sure of most of the time. They were answers I had to critically figure out whether they applied or not.
I dunno, may have just been my test or definitely could have been my nerves but I definitely felt like mine was more difficult than Kaplan. When I walked out, I was not one of the "I'm pretty sure I passed" people. I really envy those people. I genuinely did not know. Thank heaven for the PVT, especially here in Cali where we're told it can be 4 weeks before we're told. Otherwise I'd be a hot mess .
