31 SATA but i had a bad pop up when I did the PVT trick

Nursing Students NCLEX

Took NCLEX yesterday morning. I got 108 q&a got 31 SATA questions, EKGs, got also 2 or 3 drag and drop, isolation precaution, pediatrics, maternal, neuro, pharma, delegation and prioritization and soooo on... This is my 2nd time taking an nclex. the first time I took was last January and used uworld for almost 3 months. I guess uworld wasn't for me since i've been away in the nursing field for how many years. This time I used REMAR review. it is indeed a great reviewer (I bought the dvd package, joined REMAR University and watch her youtube vids).. getting back to the exam, my experience this time was difficult but i was pretty confident before taking the exam as I can honestly say to my self that I am very much ready this time because I study hard like 10x more than the first. On my first take, I was too afraid to check the PVT and I waited for 48hrs for the quick result and I failed. THis time I was very keen to check the PVT and upon checking it last night I had a bad pop up. My heart is broken into pieces but still holding on with my faith in GOD and not losing hope.any of you got a situation as I am? prayers for me please....

plenty of people got the bad popup and passed, as well as have gotten the good popup and failed. just wait until the official results are posted on the board site and hope for the best in the meantime. good luck

thank you! i keep on praying that God will grant it to me .in Jesus name

Are you sure you're doing it correctly? When I took the NCLEX ~3 weeks ago I got home and immediately did the PVT. It was my first time taking the test/doing the trick and I had put a made up credit card number. I got a pop up that said "invalid credit card" and my heart sank because I thought it was the bad pop-up. I then tried putting my actual credit card and exp. date and just changed the CVV code. That time around I got the good pop up! My point being that the nerves of just taking the test + doing the PVT for the first time could maybe have made you do it wrong! I hope you pass regardless!

i did the pearson vue trick and it said "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. another registration cannot be made at this time"

i put in all the correct credit card info except for the expiration date. have you tried putting in the wrong CVV code or expiration date?

i did it correctly. and checked it again after 24hrs and still got a bad pop up. Found out that I failed last Monday through the quick result. SATA questions does not mean anything if that's the case coz most of what I read they have a lot of SATA and they passed the exam but in my case i did not make it.

Yes, you got an invalid pop up because you did the trick wrong. You MUST put in the correct Credit Card number and expiration date. The only thing you can change is the CVV number on the back of the card. Hence why you got the good pop up the second try, because you actually did the trick correctly.

Sorry to hear you failed, unfortunately this is another example why you CAN NOT judge how you did on the test by how many SATA questions you get etc. No matter what people say or try to tell you, there is no way to judge how you did on the test by the types of questions you get.

exactly... i'm waiting for my CPR.at the moment i feel better.happy that my hubby is always there for me no matter what. i dnt want to give up and give in because dreams don't give up on us. i will take the exam again soon and i really hope and pray that it would be the last coz i'll be a Registered Nurse (that's my goal).m still keeping my faith that i can do it.maybe it's not my time yet. God has set a perfect timing for all of us always.please include me in your prayers. thank u so much

I wish prospective nurses would quit trying the "trick" as you said, it is not accurate and people get let down only to find out that they passed.
