Santa Rosa Nursing Positions?

U.S.A. California

Published

I have been living in the East Bay and working as a "health technician" at a high school. I graduated in 2009 and got my RN license for CA, and just found out we will be moving to santa rosa in the near future, does anyone know of any positions (I am not particular at all, just looking for work!) or any advice about the area/hospitals etc? I would really appreciate it... this is a new area for me (I am originally from the midwest) Thanks : )

Specializes in ICU.

Based on the job availability for RNs in this area, it may necessary to commute. Napa, Marin, SF counties are close.

Here is a list of the hospitals in Sonoma County.

  • Sonoma Valley Hospital — Sonoma
  • Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital — Santa Rosa
  • Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa — Santa Rosa
  • Kaiser Permanente Medical Center Santa Rosa — Santa Rosa
  • Petaluma Valley Hospital — Petaluma
  • Palm Drive Hospital — Sebastopol
  • Healdsburg District Hospital — Heraldsburg

Specializes in Medical Surgical.

Are they hiring new grads in Santa Rosa? I would love to live there.

Specializes in Med-Surg/ Tele/ DOU.

I'm actually moving my family to the area from Long Beach, CA. I graduated from Cal State Long Beach but am actually from the area. Got a job at a subacute facility that my cousin hooked me up with. There seems to be some hospital jobs opening up that are open to new grads. Kaiser and Sutter Santa Rosa have a couple of jobs that say Nurse 1/ Intermit permitee. Northbay in Vacaville has a new grad program starting, that's about 40 minutes away.

Thanks mrpie for list
