Santa Fe College ASN 2015 hopefuls!

Nursing Students School Programs

I haven't seen a thread yet for anyone who applied on May 15, 2015 for the ASN program at Santa Fe College! I'm just opening one up in case anyone wants to share their fears, any knowledge of when acceptance/rejection letters get mailed, compare our number of points, or even just offer moral/peer support while we all wait for the day to come!!:)

Well thank you! You only have to take the math and reading sections. I didn't study but I would have studied if I had known that they use the scores as tie breakers.

Did anyone start a Facebook group?

Well it all worked out in the end for you kelenal! For the math, is it just basic adding and subtracting decimals and fractions, or was it converting them? Seems easy but I can see if you went in cold it would be a bit of a challenge to remember even the easiest of math, all that easy stuff has been replaced if not used as much!!!! And you did get to use a calculator I am assuming????

I am not sure if anyone started a Facebook page for your class but I think the person that started the thread said she was going to. :)

Does anyone know how long the program is?

Could anyone describe what your schedule has been this first year? Friends who went through the program said you tend to leave around 12 or 1, and I'm sure it varies, but just curious how it's been for you all this year?? Thanks in advance for any details you could give!:)

Hi! I am very excited as I have applied for the 2016 fall program at Santa Fe and am waiting to hear back. I was hoping someone could talk about what happens upon acceptance. Do you have to have health insurance, or is it highly encouraged? What's the background check all about? The background check is similar to one for a job? What else do they ask you to do if you're admitted? I know there is a required CPR certification. Are there any other requirements to meet? I'm stressing!
