Well thank you! You only have to take the math and reading sections. I didn't study but I would have studied if I had known that they use the scores as tie breakers. Did anyone start a Facebook group?

Nice! I remember your name from the UF accelerated thread. I'm glad it all worked out for us! Has anyone started the VA online training program yet? I'm planning on doing it tonight. I saw that it was 174 pages.

I didn't think I'd get the call but I am in! I'm so relieved and happy. I applied a year ago to Santa Fe and didn't get in. I applied to UF and didn't get in but I kept taking classes to bump up my GPA and I did the 100 hours of volunteer service. Im so happy that it paid off. Don't give up if you didn't get it this time.

Well I got 100% on the reading comprehension part and I got above whatever you needed to get the full points for the math part. I took it a year ago and I remember not being very happy about my score so I'm guessing between 86%-89%. I should have asked but I was a little frazzled. and thank you for your well wishes!

Okay so it was that they no longer require one of the prerequisite classes so my GPA dropped to the next tier. I have 60 points and the tie breaker was the Kaplan math test. Good luck everybody else who is still waiting. I hope I get in as an alternate!

The only thing I can think of is that I turned in my volunteer paperwork to the front desk after my counseling appointment and maybe it never made it into my folder in that case I would only have 55 points. I'll let you know when I find out but I'm freaking out now.

I have 65pts and I recieved a letter today saying I am an alternate.

I have. I was denied. Did you not hear back from them yet? I received an email on Monday.

Yeah, I live near the Main Street post office and no letter for me today. My boyfriend is in a graduate program at UF and he was emailed his acceptance so of course they can do it and I wish they would.

Hi Lidia, your stats are almost exactly the same as mine. I will let you know if I get in. I'm not very optimistic because of how my gpa compares to other people applying. I too have a BS in Biology and struggled during the first couple of years at community college before getting into university. If you count all of my community college years it took me 8yrs to get a degree.
