I haven't seen a thread yet for anyone who applied on May 15, 2015 for the ASN program at Santa Fe College! I'm just opening one up in case anyone wants to share their fears, any knowledge of when acceptance/rejection letters get mailed, compare our number of points, or even just offer moral/peer support while we all wait for the day to come!!:)

I am really nervous about getting in as well considering I don't have high points. Does anyone know when we will be receiving our letters?

Letters were sent out yesterday! So they should come to gainesville addresses today or tomorrow... I've been checking my mail like crazy.

How many points did you get? The letters should come tomorrow considering they have to go to jacksonville first now so it takes an extra day.

I only have 50pts. So I am thinking I probably won't get in this time around.

I have 65pts and I recieved a letter today saying I am an alternate.

How is that? I received a letter of acceptance late afternoon and I only had 60 points? What did your letter say??

The only thing I can think of is that I turned in my volunteer paperwork to the front desk after my counseling appointment and maybe it never made it into my folder in that case I would only have 55 points. I'll let you know when I find out but I'm freaking out now.

Okay so it was that they no longer require one of the prerequisite classes so my GPA dropped to the next tier. I have 60 points and the tie breaker was the Kaplan math test. Good luck everybody else who is still waiting. I hope I get in as an alternate!

What did you get on the math Kaplan of you don't mind me asking? You are definitely one of the top on the list then, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I know plenty of people who have gotten in from the list!!!
