Hello Future Nurses (and current nurses)! I wanted to start a thread for those applying to SAC's ADN program next month, and for those who've already gone through the process. How are you doing on your nursing journey?
For me, I've just finished my prerequisites at Ventura College (started Fall 2015 - YEESH) and moved to the OC. I'll be applying to SAC, Golden West, and Cypress. Anyone else applying to the other two schools?
I recently starting working as a CNA, new grad here. Hoping my experience will be beneficial for when I become a RN (of course it will). I'm on my third day, and already so humbled.

Hello Everyone! I was thinking of applying for SAC for their LVN-RN AP program since its night and weekends. I had a question for those of you who applied. I saw that the requirements and it said "The completed prerequisites must be passed with at least a "C" and require an overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher."
Is the 2.5 just for prereqs or your whole combined GPA for all schools?
I got my letter in the mail today. I was placed on the alternate list #15 out of 20. I applied with 86.5 points. I was surprised, I thought I would definitely get in with 86.5. Good luck to everyone.
Fingers crossed there are enough people who decline their admission.
