Hello peers,
I'm relocating from Southern California to the Santa Clara/San Jose area. I'm looking for pointers on the best hospitals to work at in this area. I'm also looking for nursing registries/agencies that use per diem nurses to staff hospitals in this area.
I'm a little reluctant to commit to a 13 week contract before I'm a little familiar with the hospital/area
My experience is in ER nursing. Please which are good ERs to work at in the Santa Clara/San Jose area?
Thank you in advance for all your help!!

I have not worked at these, but here are some names:
Regional Medical Center of San Jose
Santa Clara Valley Medical Center
Stanford University
I did my residency for graduate school at Stanford with the trauma coordinator. The place is very impressive. If I had a choice of anywhere however, I'd pick SF General (worked there years ago and know people there now.) It is a bit north though of San Jose so might not be an option for you. If you have ER nursing experience, I think you will be able to find work pretty much anywhere. Good luck.

Good Sam and Oconner have good reputations
@Boomer MS
Thank you so much for your response and recommendations. I will look into all of them. And yes with ER experience I'm confident I will be able to secure something :)
Thanks again!!
@iluvivt You're the second person who has recommended Oconner. I spoke to a recruiter and she mentioned Oconner is also one of the highest paying hospitals for travel assignments. I will look into Good Sam as well.
Thanks a lot!!
