Hi everyone, I summited my application last month (May 2024) for the next cohort that will take place in August. My GPA is 3.5 and my TEAS is 66% (Not high enough) . I'm really nervous and not sure if these scores are strong enough to get in. Share your thoughts.

I think they said they will start making acceptance calls the first and second week of August. The suspense it killing me tho 😭 thanks good luck to you too!

Did you have to write an essay or it was just the interview?

They told me during my interview that they were going to meet on the 26th to talk about applications. Is Sallie Mae the only private lender that works with SJVC? I haven't found any others

Hey celeste94 , there was no essay required . They just called me to the back for interview

I think I might not be able to get the loan, my credit score is really low also I don't have a cosigner. Do you guys know if there is another option to get a private loan?

Yea I'm in the same boat . Sallie Mae did not approve me.

What about FAFSA and federal student loans?

I received full amount of Fasfa and student loans . They count it as a Freshman year so loans are not as high but still covers good amount .
