I'm getting ready to apply and just took my TEAS V. Didn't do as well as I would have liked. I'm a litle bummed and was wondering was some of the nursing students TEAS V and overall points were for this upcoming Fall 2013 year now that the lowered the number of students to 40.

Yeah I understand that. And I wouldn't care if they didn't allow me to get those points, but do you think they will throw out my app?

I've left a message with the dept. hopefully they will get back to me...

Is anyone else submitting course descriptions? Do you think we can group all of our descriptions from one year under one copy of the inside cover, or should we do it "one inside cover copy, per page copied from catalog"? Don't want to screw this up!!

Did you complete your coursework at another college? My letter said that since my courses were completed at delta no transcript or course description needs to be submitted

I'm not sure what you mean. I wasn't aware of any particular way course descriptions needed to be done. I think you can include more than one class from that year under the same inside cover. Do they ask for inside covers?

I thought you just had to have the page with the description on it....what does "one inside cover copy" mean?

When you submit course descriptions you also have to include the inside over page that shows the year of the catalog. I just talked to the health and science department, and they said if I have several descriptions from the same catalog, I can staple them all together and place the inside cover from that year with the group.

My inside cover only has the school name and address, but no dates. The rest of the pages including the one with the course description have a running head of dates. I took one class outside of Delta. Anyhow, did SJ Delta say somewhere that we need to include the inside cover page or did you just figure on your own that you needed to include the inside cover for the dates?

MJC's catalog does not have the date on each page so according to the health and science department I have to copy the inside cover that states the year of the catalog along with my descriptions. According to prior semesters blogs it seems thy has always been the practice.

First of all, I wish everyone good luck for the RN program. I was invited to submit the supporting materials as well. I was accepted to another nursing program recently. Therefore, I am not going to move forward with my application at San Joaquin Delta. :)
