Ok, does anyone know if we submit our transcripts to Admissions? Cuz it says do not send to health department? Or do we send them in the same envelope as everything else? Sorry if this is a dumb question...I just don't wanna be disqualified for something so lame!

Derrico Building, go to the front desk. Ask where to drop your documents. If you are real paranoid, they can time stamp it so that it shows your were not late in dropping off your stuff.

Does anybdy know abou how many alternates r chosen

Over 10. I knew an alternate number 8 who is in the program now that started getting their uniforms and stuff in May. Then the college added in another 8 more alternates 7 days before the semester started about AUG 3. So from the rough numbers looks like 16.

thanks kalevra, you sure have some great answers to all of our questions! i'm feeling alot better about getting into the program or not. so even if we're chosen as alternates... there's a good chance we'll still be selected for the program?? my score isnt as great as others... though it still was picked. it was a 67.5, do you have any insight onto my chances to secure a position ? excellent, great, fair, poor, doubtful?

I am not a betting man but if I had to place a wager I'll buy you a $5 footlong that you are getting in. This is assuming of course all you paper work is complete, cause you will be surprised what people will write on their application and can't back it up with documents.

Hello everyone,

When you submitted your TEAS score did you include the decimal? For example if I got an 80.3. Does the .3 have to be included?

What I was confused on, was that if you look at the TEAS V score point system. It is only listed by whole numbers. Like you said though, they want your actual score. I wonder how many people will get disqualified just on the alone. Not including the decimal.

Awesome! I don't think I'm going to have any problems with the paperwork. I was pretty thorough ( I hope ) lol. and great! I hope I get in as well! oh and 67.5 was my total score, i got a 81.3 on the teas.

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum, though I always read it, I have never posted. This is my 3rd time applying @ Delta and hopefully I'll get in! The first time I applied they disqualified me, saying I didn't take the Nutrition class that is required, though I had, so they corrected the mistake and put me as #12 on the waitlist...I didn't get in!! :crying2: The secone time I applied I was asked to submit documents but it wasn't a good time for me considering that I just had twins....& now is the third time!! Hi hmeyse,

Unbelievable!! Did u take nutrition @ Delta?? I heard all the alternates got in last semester & many more,,, that is good. Well I hope u get in this time,,maybe 3rd time will b the charm for u this time?? This is my first time applying,,, hope I get in too!!! I turned in all my docs last week,,,now to enjoy relaxing!

Hi hmeyse,

The secone time I applied I was asked to submit documents but it wasn't a good time for me considering that I just had twins....& now is the third time!! Hope it's the lucky one. I am going to be mailing all my documents today. Who else is from Modesto?

I think she didn't follow through on her plan because she just had twins. Assuming she applied in the Spring of 2011. Like I have said before we put in a ton of last minute alternates.
