  1. I know someone who is #28 on alt list so there is at least that many!! They will probably let alot of them in after the holidays if enough people drop,, I hope they get alternates in soon because my friends are waiting to be notified!!
  2. My friend was also disqualified but then won his appeal. He is now in the program not an alternate I wonder why they put u as an alternate then?? Well hopefully u get in,, My other friends on the alternate list did not get in yet but it's still early In the game
  3. Yes we must have them all done before we start clinicals. This is required by the hospitals.
  4. Don't worry, u can register on Monday morning,,,they leave enough spots for everyone in the nursing program. You will just have to take whatever is left for clinicals. Looks like your choices are Manteca or Tracy. Relax and have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!:redpinkhe
  5. Yeah I'm thinking the Fri/Sat may be a better choice for some....I may do that later in the program....I am older and settled down too...at least I only would need help on Fri to get my son to school.....since my husband travels a lot with his job.... sorry I live in Stockton and so glad I don't have to commute but the clinical mornings are going to be tough for me! Hope you can get a carpool going soon!
  6. I'm a Dameron too...I'm lucky...got all my immunizations and CPR done over the summer when I got my EMT. Now I can just relax and enjoy the holidays!!!
  7. I'm at Dameron,,,, Anyone else doing Dameron this semester??
  8. No mine was less than 4 hrs,,, really easy unless u have people in your class that are slow learners,,,Enjoy!
  9. They are new instructors for Delta I hear.
  10. No they just started offering Fri/Sat classes. I did not want to give up my weekends so I did not choose it. I may however end up with a Fri/Sat clinical next time. Either way it's all good!!
  11. I would call the office and ask them.... It would definitely be to your benefit but I don't believe it's a deal breaker. You would have to go to the nursing office and pick up all the paperwork you missed at orientation then. :redpinkhe
  12. No nothing yet. They are behind the schedule so we must wait. They may make us wait until orientation to give us this info. I'm with you,,,so wanting to get this rolling!
  13. I bought this Littman on Amazon for $30.00 and it worked well for me in my EMT training. Here is the link: http://amzn.com/B001CCINO0 It also has good reviews on Amazon... I think it is a great stethoscope for nursing students,,,,and I will buy a more $$$$ Littman after I graduate...
  14. Well today is the day that all those who were accepted accept or decline their spots. I hope all our alternates get in! Best of luck to all our alternates and hope you all get in soon!
  15. You need to pick the RN one since that is the program you will be in!
