Has anyone applied yet???:confused::eek:

Stan State's deadline is December 16th

thank you all for your reply!

So I've been trying to post for a while but the site was down.... I GOT IN finally!!!! YEAH!!! I recevied a call on Dec 22 and she let me know that I had a spot in the program and asked that I try to get all of the items from the check list done by Jan 3. I've have completed most everything except I don't have the document explaining how to upload my physical and immunization information. Could anyone let me know how it is done? Also, is there anyone who is from Modesto? I was looking over the schedule and from what I understood there is 2 clinical days 630-330 and then Thursday 11-3, is there anything else that I should know about when setting up my schedule at work? I'm kind of worried that there may be more days that I don't know about since I didn't go to the orientation. I also noticed that one of the courses says it's an internet calss?!?! Any information would be of great help. Thank you in advance and I can't wait to begin and meet all of you!!

I'm going on to my second semester....the only days you go to clinical are the ones you registered for, and for lecture too. During lab testing, the time to meet may be different, but they tell you in advance. Hope this helps =)

Hello everyone,

I applied for this program but was put on the alternate list and I have not heard anything yet so pretty much I am accepting the fact that its not going to happen for me. I am wondering what other schools are out here that I can apply to. I am new here from Arizona and I live in Brentwood now. I will travel anywhere I just want to get in somewhere. Please let me know of any nursing programs that you know of. Thanks :)

Specializes in ED, Telemetry,Hospice, ICU, Supervisor.

what is your alternate number?

Hi,

I was wondering, for the ADN program at San Joaquin Delta College, are there any Saturday and Sunday clinicals or just Fri/Sat? Also are there evening clinicals? Thanks a bunch!!!!

kh86, here is a link that will let you know about programs in CA. You have a lot of different options. Some are closer than others. Most of the ASN programs still have lottery systems.

I find out if I am accepted into program in two weeks but didn't anticipate having to buy expensive uniforms. I really thought regular blue scrubs were still being used. (my co worker was in program years ago and they used reg blue ones back then). It all adds up. Wow. The CPR class, finger printing, adn kit, stethoscope , ect. I need a miracle scrabbling up the money. I am so excited!!!!! Yet soon scared I'm not going to have enough money for everything. Yikes!
