I very happy to see that all of you got in!!! Congrats!! I on the other hand, have yet another mix up with my Nutrition class taken at another college, so I guess I'll be on the phone with them on Monday!! I'm so disappointed, I have wasted so much time!! Well once again congrats to all of you!!!

Congratulations to all that made it. If anyone needs help on what clinical site to take, I recommend Saint Joseph SJMC. I have a long and detailed explanation as to why but trust me you wont regret it.

I'm in too. I still have a few weeks to hear from some other schools. I live in Sac so this would be a long commute for me but I'll do it if I don't get accepted closer to home.

A good chunk of my cohort comes from sac, you wont be the only one.

So bummed. I didnt get in. I got selected as an alternate though. ( I would rather not say what number lol) Does anyone know how many alternate were selected last semester, and how many got in?

That's good to know. It's because all of the schools around Sacramento (and pretty much the rest of NorCal) are on a lottery system. No matter how good your grades are you are looking at two years to get in. Sac City is sorta merit now in that it's harder to get in the lottery but I'm still putting my odds at about 10 percent to get in. I foresee many hours spent on I-5 for the next two years. Maybe I can get a carpool going. But whatever, at least I know I'll be starting somewhere soon.

Last semester, I did not submit course descriptions and was rejected. For those who did not get in due to insufficient/inaccurate information, don't give up. You will definitely make it next time.

I'm an alternate as well...#9. Earlier postings said that last semester all of the alternates got in. 15ish. I'm hoping for the same this time around. Are we supposed to be starting our checklist with everyone else? I don't know what the rules are for alternates that are chosen last minute :/

Yay I got in too! these were the most scary few weeks of waiting i've ever had. Congratulations to everyone who got in. Good luck to all the alternates. You guys are pretty close. jst hang in there. i heard somewhere that most of the alternates got in last semester so let's hope for the best. For all those who couldn't make it this semester, don't give up...reaaply next semester and work on getting volunteer experience to add to your points. I wish u guys all the luck. As for the extra time, go do all the fun stuff in the world that you've never done. I'll make the time fly and next admission period will be here in no time! Hope to meet you all soon...
