Hey guys and gals. I noticed there wasn't a thread for people applying to the Delta Nursing program for Spring 2017, yet, so I thought I'd start one. I am an alternate, but mine says I'm "alternate 04"

It should say your number, unless you're the first alternate.

I haven't heard anything from them either. Did you try calling them?

Thank you for getting back to me! I haven't tried calling them. Ive had a hard time contacting them. I've sent out two emails to staff of the Allied Health but haven't heard anything yet. Im just curious when they start telling alternates if they've been accepted or not. Its painful to wait! :p

I called them once but they said if theres a spot for us, they will email us or call us,

I know, so painful to wait. I wish theres a certain date for us alternate to know.

being alternate 4 I am sure you will get in!! No I wasn't assigned an alternate number. I am trying to bride in from lvn to rn, so I would come in third semester! But it's absolute torture waiting!!

Does anyone know if we need to purchase NURS001 and NURS002 books at the same time, or can we wait until March when 002 starts? NURS001 books through the bookstore are over $500 total! Thanks

I'm not sure about the books... but when I totaled everything up I was a little surprised. I am for sure getting nurs001 books and trying to find them cheaper online

I never got a reply from my email. I tried emailing the counselor for nursing and she is looking into what number I might be. Its so difficult to get ahold of them sometimes. Have you heard anything yet?

Oh okay thats better to contact the nursing counselor. which counselor though? I haven't, I'm not sure who I should email about us alternates.

akuhlman9 they want MMR and varicella. you need a tetorifice and flu shot. you need proof of 3 Hep B vaccinations or a titer also
