Hi friends, my name is John. I'm new here and wanted to start a thread for those applying for the Fall 2014 admission at SJDC. I've read similar threads about past classes and found them interesting and informative.
I just finished up Physiology (still nervously waiting for my grade) and I'll be taking the TEAS at Modesto JC on 12/20. After that I'll be putting together my application!
I just noticed on Delta's ADN site that the TEAS will be offered at the Stockton campus the second week of January. Still no information on when the actual application period is going to be.
Anybody else want to share any thoughts, concerns, rumors, or advice?

Other medical certificate - 2 pts.
Sciences GPA - 32 pts.
Other pre reqs - 10 pts.
teas - 22 pts. (score of 83.3)
low family income - 2.5 pts.
Just wondering, does anyone know what exactly the notification is going to be on 2/11? Is this just a notification to submit supporting documentation or that we've been accepted (if we have enough pts that is)?
Just checked, and they're asking for me submit supporting documentation. This is the first hurdle to get past. We won't know if we're actually accepted until April. Best wishes guys, I hope we all get in.
I have been asked to submit documentation as well !!!!! This does not mean you are in the program just yet you can still be disqualified if paperwork isn't submitted properly or incorrect paperwork is submitted. If all goes well you are either one of the 40 or on the alternate list ! Good luck !
I have also been asked to submit supporting docs. Yay! I know its just one hurdle but I'm still excited. April just seems far away but good luck to you all!!
April does seem so far away ! It gives us time to save up money!! well at least the poor broke students like me gives me time to work and save up. My friend said to start off even before classes began she spent almost three grand on everything. Are any of you taking out a loan ? Sorry if this is too personal, just wondering.
Can someone help clarify course descriptions for me? I've read in previous posts that for course descriptions, we should print the cover of the course catalog pertaining to the school and year we took our prereq, as well as the course description for that class? Sorry, first time I've ever been asked to submit course descriptions. Thanks!
