Has anyone applied for the program?

Has anybody started reading the syllabus for ADN 001? I was just wondering because on the course requirements it list the Drug guide book as a required test but in the bookstore it listed as suggested..does anyone know anything about this? Ive emailed the professor but she has replied yet.

@enfermera408 I will, so far haven't heard back yet, I'm debating whether or not I should contact her again, but I'd hate to bother her if she just hasn't had to time reply.

Hi Everyone,

I just got an email last week stating I'm an alternate and was invited to submit my documentation. I am shocked to say the least because I received the "rejection" email a couple months back and my overall points were very low. Did anyone else receive an email last week? For everyone else, PLEASE give me some pointers on what I can do while I wait for the final email on 8/8. I already got some immunizations done and not sure what else I need to do!!!

Hey Everyone! I'm new to this site, I'm not even sure If i'm posting in the right spot lol, I hope i'm not putting a response to someone, I guess i'll learn. So congrats to everyone who got in the program! I received a letter the other week about being an alternate, and being invited to submit paperwork, which i did. I got an e-mail today saying that I had a space in the program, @ least that's what it sounded like, so does that mean i'm in if i say yes right??? who else experienced that? Also since I was just informed, I have nothing done, I'm actually currently in the Radiology program through delta, so I have my immunizations, PPD, chest x-ray done, but WHat's the first step in even getting stuff done for the Nursing program, I'm so confused. So those that were just informed won't have their uniforms and stuff in time, so that must be okay right? Where do you even go to get fitted and order them. Basically any information you can give me would be helpful ! THaNKs!! I'm ExciTEd! :):redbeathe

Hi ESo! You were an alternate as well?? Have you started on anything that needs to be done before school starts? do you even know where to start, there was sooooo much in the e-mail, it's mind boggeling lol:coollook:

Does anyone know if slip-on shoes are acceptable as nursing shoes? The have a closed toe and heel. Inside the ADN packet is says that the shoes should have clean white laces; however, robin in the NSC told me that velcrow was also acceptable? They are nurse mates and the style is DOVE. I would advise you to order the ATI package, the Nursing Skills Lab Kit, and to get your books asap to start the assigned reading!
