  1. I am in! I'm also having trouble sending the reply. Anyhow, congrats to all who got accepted! I'm excited to be your classmate. For who didn't, please keep at it. I know it's not easy, but if you are kind, warm, and hard working individual, You'll make a great nurse.
  2. Hi ONEDAY2BRN, For Personal/Life Circumstances Supporting Documentation, I understood the document the same as you did. I read the sentense over and over, because it seemed a little odd. I submitted the signed form only and holding onto my pay stubs/letter. According to the Delta Nursing's website, the maximum points that you can earn on Criteria 3 is 2.5 points, I believe that they only accept one qualifying factor.
  3. Try http://www.collegesource.org/, you will have to create an account etc, but it's free. I found my CSU Hayward's course discription from 2002 there. Good luck!
  4. Congrats to your sister! That is so exciting. I hope everything will go well with her pregnancy.
  5. Mine said ranked 13, and I had 78 points. I have made silly mistakes when I was sending application packages, so I am going to triple check before I turn in my documents. Is there anyone who are going to deliver it in person?
  6. Congrats to you all!:loveya: I also received the invitation! Yey, one hurdle cleared!
  7. I also haven't heard back yet. Yea, it's strange that they said week of 25th... I'm checking email very often, and it's not helping, so I should stop, but I can't!
  8. It's great to hear that there are great professors at SJDC. Giulistudentnurse, wow, your background is impressive! I have significantly less experience, but I'm crossing my fingers. Well, I hope we all hear back this week. Good luck!
  9. I took my pre-reqs at Las Positas in Livermore. nursetobe013, I think 78 is a great score!
  10. Dear NBB2013, nice to "meet" you, thank you for providing us the information. Best of luck! nursetobe013, It is so nice to be able to talk to other applicants. There are a lot of unknowns and uncertainty that can cause stress, but it helps to know that you are not the only one.:) If you have good GPA,TEAS, and a language, I believe that you have very good chance. If someone was able to score all points of all categories, she/he would be going to UCSF. I've received a confirmation email from Delta right after I submitted online application. Now I am getting together documents and transcripts in case I hear back at the end of this month.
  11. Nursetobe013, Thanks for your comment. Yes, only thing I can do is to keep at it. Many people are in the same situation. In December, I took TEAS 4.0, I hope I won't have to take it again. I applied to Delta because we have to move to Brentwood at the end of this month. Other colleges are really far to commute. I'm feeling a little more optimistic with Delta, because they look at your GPA, TEAS, and experience.
  12. Hello hijadecalifas! Good luck to you too!
  13. Dear nursetobe013, I am also new to this site. Thanks for posting reply. I am getting a little antsy because I've been rejected from multiple nursing programs. I thought delta takes shorter time compared to other community colleges. I also applied for San Mateo CC and Chabot CC back in Jan and Dec, but I will not hear from them until May. Either way it'll be nice if we can hear back soon. Best of luck to you :)
  14. Has anyone applied for the program?
