Has anyone applied for the program?
congrats!!!!
i'm also in!!
i also attempted to sign in to accept a few times, had the same issue as everyone else above.
is anyone commuting from roseville? i’m really worried about my commute; hopefully i will end up getting a place to stay in stockton… i have a friend whose parents live in stockton; i'll try to see if i can crash there.
how far are ppl commuting from?
GREAT question SoontoBE!
i dont live in roseville, though i will occasionally be in sac (where my boyfriend lives)...my parents live in the clayton/concord area, and ill likely be staying with them, though i think ill eventually want to move closer....i would love to carpool with anyone from this area!
I was worried when I couldn't log in to accept, thank goodness for this blog or I might have been panicking till Monday when I could call. I'm so thankful to have made it in. And relieved that the waiting is over! Congrats to everyone else who made it in and see the rest of you next semester hopefully :) Looking forward to meeting everyone. Let's all enjoy our summer before the hard work begins!
Congrats to all that received the long awaited email on Friday. I am so excited to begin this journey! I feel fortunate to have these couple of months to get things done. It must have been rough for the previous students completing everything during Christmas and finals!
If any current students are on this thread, do you have any helpful hints for us? All advice will be very much appreciated! Look forward to meeting everyone!!!
Congrats!!!!! To all of you who got in this upcoming Fall 2011 Semester YAY!!!! I am excited for you! It feels like yesterday that our group was there! We are just finishing up our 1st semester and It really does go by so fast! my advice is don't procrastinate on any of your labs or test stuff as most of that is up to your healthcare providers and perhaps don't understand the urgency of getting things done! But as mentioned we only had a little less then a month to get it all done with holidays in the middle! You will have lots of questions so shoot them at us I am sure there are others who can answer them as well! Yes enjoy your summer, but it doesn't hurt to read if you can...there is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much reading to do in the beginning....OH MY! I still feel like my tornado hasn't stopped, it has slowed a little but I have been caught in a tornado since we got excepted! LOL! However, I wouldn't have it anyother way!!!!!
Thanks CaRNwnt2b for your reply. It will be great having someone to answer the many questions that we will probably have in the next few months. What do you feel would be the best material for us to focus on this summer? We would like to be prepared as possible when the tornado hits in August!!!
I am so glad the storm has finally headed our way and look forward to meeting all of you. After reading the spring 2011 thread, I can tell that all of you are a very close group.
i agree. it does seem like you guys are a close group, which is awesome!
i take it that when we choose our clinical site, we all can depend on the same sort of experiences, right? or is there a difference between the clinical sites that we should be aware of? because otherwise, im just going to choose based on driving distance
Yay! :anpom:I got in too, and it was my first time applying, I was so happy with the acceptance email!!! But, now Im freaking out with all the stuff we need to get done before the 20th of this month, especially the immunizations. I lost my immunization card record. Does anyone know where I could get a copy of my record other than driving all the way back there?
