San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2009

Published

Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program?

Lets talk about it here

FYI: There is a vending machine that sells scantrons right around the corner from Enrollment Services.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if they have the type that we need in them? I would hate to get there and not be able to purchase them. If not, I guess I could be at the bookstore at 7:45 am and run like hell to class so I will not get locked out! I doubt that I will take that kind of chance. I would like to arrive early and have a calm, no stress first day of class.

chelken,

i saw where you said "40 minutes to san jac"

so do you live in baytown? i thought i was the only one that

was living in baytown lol

everyone is like woww thats crazy u drive so far to school!

im like...gees.

but yeah they have a lee college store in the mall, so i might

just go to the mall and get one of those scan trons..

or 6, actually.

I live in League City and it takes me a half hour to get there. You should hear what people try to tell me when they hear that. Quite funny really.

I think the best one was somebody trying to tell me I wasn't driving right. Wasn't really sure what they were talking about. Guess I should put on driving gloves or something.

hahah, that's funnyy. and weird? lol

ugh. i finished reading chapters 1-4 in health assessment.

and u are right russell, "nursing process" is mentioned

quite a bit..

now i'm on chapter 2 in fundamentals.. and it's giving

me a headache. lol this book is sooo huge!

and i didn't really take notes on these chapters..did you?

Yeah, it's a great sleep aid in the beginning. Who needs medicine when you can learn about how to be nice to people and their cultures! Reminds me a lot of my anthropology class.

I did, but then I stopped. It seems to repeat itself quite a bit, and I wasn't really needing notes because it's all fairly simple stuff to know. I might go over words and definitions though, as that seems like a pretty good way to quiz us.

I wonder if we need to know the historical names and stuff..

i hope this book makes it seem a lot harder than it really is.

or does it not?

It is 20 miles (40 roundtrip). It only takes me about 25 minutes one way. It is not that bad of a drive but I sure do not want to do it just to pick up a scantron! Hopefully, Lee will have them. I am going to wait and go in the morning. Shana...if they do have them I will get an extra one if you want me to.

I have a Baytown address but live in Beach City....same darn thing but it is in Barbers Hill School District.

That I can't answer, as I have no clue how they do their exams. The first exam is how you measure what an instructor is going to do for the rest of the exams, so that's when you'll get your answer.

Or somebody will answer it here : D

beach city is right by my house. i live in barbers hill, actually. in plantation... the subdivision right by that finleys at the four way stop.. haha! yes i'll get back with you if they don't have them at the lee college store in the mall.

Did you graduate from Barbers Hill? My step-son graduated from there in 2008. I see that you are only 1 year older than him. I will get some extra scantrons either way.

Well, I just looked at your profile on facebook (what I can see anyway) and we have a mutual friend....my step-son. It's a small world!

yes i graduated in 07. who is your step son?

i probably know him.

and does anyone know how to do columns in a word doc?
