San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2009

Published

Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program?

Lets talk about it here

Yeah, he let me make up one of our major assignments and I managed a 79.4 which he was gracious enough to bump up to a B. Guess I was a bit premature in my thinking : p

I'm definitely excited. I honestly did not expect to be accepted, and it's cool because a lot of people I know made it in too! Hopefully being surrounded by all these awesome peeps will help keep the grades up!

I know. I really hope we'll have some great classmates, ya know?? Ones you can make a good team with, cause I know we're all gonna need to help each other out at some point.

Well I know 7 people from my A&P 2 class got accepted, and they're some awesome people. So I don't think we'll have to worry about dedicated classmates, that's for sure!

Can't wait for orientation. Seems so far away!

Speaking of dedicated, I wish tomorrow were Friday because I'm exhausted. Russell, did you find any good slides on the internet? I found one of the alveoli which shows the capillary in the alveoli wall.

For those of you taking APII, I have a document where I compiled histology slides from the colorful lab manual and few from the net, when I took it in spring. If you are interested I can e-mail it to you.

I feel the same way. These 5 week classes run you ragged pretty quick.

I haven't been able to find anything remotely as good as Rust yet.

Zippidity, please send me the pics or the link via private message. Thank you so much!!!!:bowingpur

Meliss I sent it. I think, I just got outlook and can't tell if the e-mail was sent or not. Or you might have 5 copies of it

I feel for you guys taking A&PII. It was a tough, but interesting class. I ended up taking it before I took A&PI due to unprocessed payment which bumped me out of my class. So to stay on track I thought "what's the big deal if I take II before I" UHHHHHHH, Hello? That was not a wise decision on my part. Everyone in there knew all the different tissues, muscles, arteries, veins etc. I felt like an absolute moron. I did great on the labs, but horrible on my lectures. Kudos to y'all for taking it during the summer. Whew! I would be wiped out.

I didn't get it Zippidy. I wonder if there's another way to send it. In any case, thanks for trying.

Haha, we are wiped out, it's just clouded because we're all excited about being future nurses is all. I actually took A&P 1 last summer in 5 weeks, so I'm sort of used to it (if you can become used to these types of classes).

It wouldn't go through because the file was too big. I managed to convert it to PDF and most of it is intact. It's attached here, I hope it helps. :specs:
