San Jacinto ADN Spring 2014

Wanted to start a blog on anyone trying for the Spring 2014 ADN program at San Jacinto. Going to take my first HESI A2 test on Aug. 28 and I am a little nervous. Hope I do well. I am still trying to get everything together so that I can turn in but all these injections and titters are driving me crazy. Has anyone else taken the HESI yet? any pointer you can give me?

Does anyone know if the nursing office will be open on Thursday the 2nd and the times also? I need to turn in my physical.

Hey guys. I made it into the program too. I should probably already know this but do any of you know when we are supposed to get our uniforms? I already purchased mine at orientation but are they going to come in the mail or do we pick them up from the school or what?

i went and turned in my physical yesterday and ask that same question ...their response was ..I don't know..I actually asked several question regarding our schedules, uniforms and books and their response to all my questions were ..I don't know. I hope we hear something soon.

You guys' schedules have been up for a few weeks now. Sorry to hear that you have had so many issues!

This should help!!!

Log on to blackboard. Click on the San Jac Life tab. Next, go to browse organization catalog. Put RNSG in to the search field. Next click on ADN RNSG (there should be a little arrow down under the title, click it). Click enroll. Accept. Now you should be on the ADN side of blackboard. Click on course schedules on the left side. Now spring 2014 then new students. There you will have all the information to register for your classes.

Thanks for sharing that bit of info. I haven't heard anything yet as to when to register for classes. I don't remember that being mentioned at orientation and i wrote everything down that day. On our acceptance email it said blackboard wouldn't be opened up to us till the second week of January. I just left the office and was told we are to get our scrubs on Monday. And i had to ask for the class #'s but apparently this is on blackboard already.

I am pretty late to this forum, but congratulations to everyone who was accepted and thank you for all the information posted.Regarding next week, based on the blackboard schedule as of now we should only register for RNSG 1215 Health Assessment and RNSG 1413 Foundations for our assigned time/date. Did anyone gather any other/different information?

From the excel spreadsheet on BB, all the class schedules have been set. I (and alot of others) are getting a registration error for 1215. Your admin in the office can help you. I hope that helps. does anyone know if we can wear all black shoes or does it have to be all white? thanks to everyone giving helpful information!
