Anyone applying for the spring semester!!
How many points did everyone get on their scoring rubric chart??? I scored with a total of 28 points. I'm not sure how many people are applying this semester or how competitive the applicant pool is going to be. Goodluck to everyone.
My total was 18 because my math and english are still in progress. My other grades were A's and I have good HESI scores AND have a high GPA, so I went ahead and applied. If I don't get in this semester, I'll just take some more classes and apply again next semester. Not really in a big hurry.
Hey Bmw2alt!! Welcome!!

I'm a bit confused on how to calculate the GPA. Can you all please help? Do they want the GPA for all courses that I have taken in my college career, or only courses that are required for the ADN program (courses listed in box 1 of the scoring rubris chart)??

You dont have to calculate your GPA on your own. It's in your SOS login under "Unofficial Transcript" at the bottom if you are just curious as to what it is. But I believe it is cumulative for every class you've taken. Anyways, when I turned my app in yesterday, she just looked it up and wrote it down while she was going through my papers. Hope this helps. :)
Enrollment services will look in their system records to calculate your GPA. I wrote down my GPA for all my college courses, not just the ADN prereqs. The lady wrote down the GPA for ALL my courses. Enrollment services has a sheet that they write on to confirm your HESI scores, confirm that they received your Drug Test receipt, confirm that they received your Precheck receipt, and the grades you got on the prereqs. The sheet becomes a part of your application that they forward to the ADN Dept noting that everything has been received.
