Hi Everyone,

I'm applying Spring 2012 also. Do they require that the courses be complete before applying? I won't complete A&PII or Micro until Dec 2011. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.70. I would've liked to take APII & Micro this summer, but I need to comprehend the material and not just rush through it during a 5wk summer course.

I've completed a majority of my prereqs for a BSN program, but can never be to sure so applying for the ADN program.:)

I wondered if the required pre reqs has to be done before applying also because I'm taking micro this coming fall. If thats the case I won't be able to apply yet then. Hope someone in the program can maybe come in and shed a little light.

What is considered a competitive HESI, GPA and overall points(point system) for the SJC ADN program? I'll take the HESI in a few weeks and currently have a cumulative GPA 3.70.

Besides SJ, I'm applying to 7 BSN programs (Yes. This is not a typo!) and 2 other ADN programs. I will get in somewhere...by any means necessary! Ha!:)

@rayneonme. When do you plan on testing for the HESI? I know San Jac, Lonestar and HCC all have different deadlines. I might take the HESI sometime in July, but I'm not exactly sure when I'll take it.

Which book from Evolve Elsevier website is everyone using for the HESI Test?

I'm also taking mine sometime in July after the first summer session. There was a book that alot of people was saying was helpful for the hesi that is available at Lonestar Cyfair bookstore. When I find the thread I'll post the name of it.

Hi Everyone,

I checked out the Prerequisites for the San Jacinto ADN program. They require ENGL 1301, MATH 1314, BIOL 2401, BIOL 2402, and BIOL 2420. One part of the Admissions criteria "Scoring Rubric" states that they accept ENGL 1301 or ENGL 2311. Which ENGL course will they use as far as calculating the Scoring Rubric? I've taken both one with a B and other with an A.
