San Diego National University Cohort 68

Updated:   Published

Hi! I wanted to see what people were planning on applying with for Nationals San Diego Cohort 68. The application deadline is Mid August 2021.

I am not quite finished with my pre-reqs yet nor have I taken my TEAS, but I will update when I have!

My goal is no lower than a 3.6GPA, and 86% or higher on the TEAS

Okay perfect thank you so much!

And it's intimidating because so many of my coworkers are getting my scores and being rejected by national! Whatever happens, I'll apply and cross my fingers. For all of us! Haha. It's a tough time right now to be applying with it being more competitive than ever.

Congrats that’s a great score!

You are allowed only 2 letters of recommendation. You can submit those with your resume for your interview, but not before then.

Thank you for this information! I didn’t know we were able to submit recommendation letters. Are the recommendation letters suppose to be private or do we just paste in a certain section?

Just got my TEAS result and I got a 87.3%. Even with my high GPA I'm nervous about it so I've decided to take it again a couple days before the deadline. I was 5 questions from a 90..super disappointing. But I did feel like the TEAS was extremely hard science and reading wise!

Also, I have a letter of recommendation from one of my professors. Are we allowed to turn this in somehow with our application? ⁰

I took TEAS too do hard . Planning  to take next week again.

I don’t know. My guess is when they notify you if you get an interview, the information will be in that email. Don’t bank on them actually reading your resume or letters of rec…but with that being said it can’t hurt.  Multiple people I know who have interviewed, have stated that none of that was a talking point during their interviews.

That can't be true. I had 3.4 GPA and 94.7 TEAS and was denied for cohort 67.

Yeah there’s no way that’s accurate because 3.8 was avg for cohort 66. I believe that’s what Elizabeth said in the nursing Zoom informational session.
