Hi! I wanted to see what people were planning on applying with for Nationals San Diego Cohort 68. The application deadline is Mid August 2021.
I am not quite finished with my pre-reqs yet nor have I taken my TEAS, but I will update when I have!
My goal is no lower than a 3.6GPA, and 86% or higher on the TEAS

I applied for 67, got an interview, then got denied! I retook A&P 1&2 the lecture portion!
You have a great score for TEAS!; however, I'm sure you can get 90 or above!
I watched a lot of Youtube videos for the science portion! I also used mometrix online exams! There are 8 of them! For the reading and English portion, professor McAllister was really helpful(Youtube)
The math portion was not bad, I just had to briefly review for it.
I wish you best of luck and I hope we both get to cohort 68!
I hope that helps!
Nice! I think I will watch a lot of Youtube videos for science like you suggested, I think improving my score in science a little will set me to the 90s hopefully. I think I'm okay on the math/reading maybe a little refresher questions.
I may also take a mometrix online exam as well just to get familiar with the content/timing again. Would you say that those exams are pretty similar to the TEAS? I took some other online exams that were a little bit off in terms of how ATI words questions.
Thank you for the tips! I wish you the best of luck as well and hope to see you to in cohort 68! ?

I think Youtube helped the most! However, the other resources were useful as well. Some of the questions on mometrix were tricky, but they helped!
I wish you best of luck!
Good luck to all of us! I hope we all get to cohort 68
Hey guys, I’m from cohort 60. I got a 94 on the TEAS, first try. Here’s my recommendations:
Study the reading questions. The way they word them can be tricky. You can know the content but still get the question wrong.
Which leads to my next point: spend the time to read the section of the prep book that talks about how to read the questions. You have to know what they’re actually asking for. That was the biggest problem I had. Once I figured it out I did a lot better.
Practice tests A and B on ATI we’re really helpful. Yes, they’re expensive but I recommend you do at least one. If you can only do one, do the B exam. It’s a lot harder than A BUT I found the TEAS to be easier than B so it was good practice. I scored 4% higher on the TEAS than the B exam.
Feel free to ask any other questions

I honestly don’t remember. I think it was like a 3.86 or something like that? I got As in every class except for A&P 2 where I got a B.
At the time, we were also doing essays instead of interviews so I can’t say much about that.

My GPA sits at 3.5 with a current TEAS score of 85.3%. I've been studying my butt off and hope to score mid to high 90s sometime here soon.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us
Good Luck.Update us. I took another TEAS turns out more harder so igor lower score. But I submitted my highest score and will see.
Just got my TEAS result and I got a 87.3%. Even with my high GPA I'm nervous about it so I've decided to take it again a couple days before the deadline. I was 5 questions from a 90..super disappointing. But I did feel like the TEAS was extremely hard science and reading wise!
Also, I have a letter of recommendation from one of my professors. Are we allowed to turn this in somehow with our application? ⁰
