Hi! I wanted to see what people were planning on applying with for Nationals San Diego Cohort 68. The application deadline is Mid August 2021.
I am not quite finished with my pre-reqs yet nor have I taken my TEAS, but I will update when I have!
My goal is no lower than a 3.6GPA, and 86% or higher on the TEAS

Good luck my second time too. When is your interview?

Is this your second as well?

Congratulations on your interview!
Yes, I interviewed for last cohort as well. Then when I got denied, they said your GPA was low. I had 3.4 now I'm at 3.8

Hi There! Do you have any advice on the interview for the application process? What types of questions do they ask and if I have 0 patient care, does that completely ruin my chances of getting accepted?

Study the reading questions. The way they word them can be tricky. You can know the content but still get the question wrong.
Which leads to my next point: spend the time to read the section of the prep book that talks about how to read the questions. You have to know what they’re actually asking for. That was the biggest problem I had. Once I figured it out I did a lot better.
Practice tests A and B on ATI we’re really helpful. Yes, they’re expensive but I recommend you do at least one. If you can only do one, do the B exam. It’s a lot harder than A BUT I found the TEAS to be easier than B so it was good practice. I scored 4% higher on the TEAS than the B exam.
Feel free to ask any other questions
Do you have any suggestions for the interview? What types of questions do they ask? And how important is it to have professional patient care experience?
