Hey guys! I haven't seen anyone make a post for this years SDCC cohort yet so here it is. How is everyone feeling about their application? Any idea what they expect for the point system? I'm coming in at about 84 or 85/100 so I'm somewhat confident. I'm assuming it's gonna take a bit for them to process the apps so we'll see. To anyone that has gone to workshops feel free to drop any helpful info below!

I'm at 82 pts, I spoke with someone from the program because I couldn't attend the workshop and they said that with this score getting in shouldn't be an issue. My concern is that I didn't submit something or submit something correctly so my score drops and I don't get in.

I totally get that haha. I have like 3 things in that application that are possibly submitted wrong in their eyes. Did you submit the application checklist with your app? Because at some point they're ere insisting on us doing it but I think they took away the msg to upload it. But there was no where to upload it..

I was having the same issue. I ended up attaching it as a link because there was nowhere to upload it! Fingers crossed though, LOL.
I wasn't told or aware of having to upload the app checklist, whelp guess I'm not getting in...

Hi everyone! I was so nervous about messing up on my application so I went to the workshop back in August. From what we were told we don't need to upload our application checklist, they said not to because it's for us to keep track?
Btw im applying with 81 points! they said the lowest score to be considered is 70 points. really hope I get in this semester!?

they said they'll send emails within 3 months after the application period closes.. so maybe November or December hopefully!

Nice, that's good to hear. I was over here thinking the threshold to get in is above an 88 so that's relieving.
The only thing that may sabotage my app is the fact that I took my speech/comms class right before applying. It was online at a CC but it was quarter units and only worth 4 quarter units which translates to 2.6 semester, when SDCC specified 3 semester units. If they don't count it then I'm out for the count LOL.

I guess it doesn't matter if you uploaded it or not. You're fine!
yeah! it's hard to determine with the multi-grid point system changing because we can't compare but 84 points seems a good place to be!
hmm, I feel like if it was at City then it's fine! Their program actually requires our transcripts to be fully evaluated once we get accepted. You can always email the nursing department! After the workshop I sent a million and ten emails I was being really OCD about my app ?

Yeah that's true. I'm thinking they're evaluating transcripts now, then apps, then send offers. And that they're gonna take the full 90 days because they mentioned how behind they are. How quick are they at responding to emails? Thought about it a couple times.
