San Diego City College LVN-RN , Spring 2024

Hi All, 

I submitted my application for San Diego City College LVN -RN today. Starting this post to connect with others who are also applying. I am wondering how many points others have applied with. 
 

I believe I applied with 83 points if all of my life experience points count.

Hey- Did someone from the school actually tell you that LVN-RN will find out first? - of course this would make sense since our applications were first and LVN-RN is in Spring 2024 where RN does not start until Fall 2024.

Yes. When I contacted them a while back, the email said we are first. The program starts in January so, hopefully it will be soon!

They told me that the program starts the second half of Spring, the LVN-RN transition class is an 8 week class, it's not a full 16 week. 

On the class schedule it actually says the LVN-RN transition course is 4/1/23-5/25/23. So I guess they still have plenty of time to send out acceptance/denials but I think we are all ready to find out! ?

I received an email that there was an update on my application. It says "Application update: Letters will go out via email by the end of the semester."

I actually ended up emailing earlier and just got a response saying the same! At least we know now though, I would have been concerned by the end of the day Friday if I did not get an email.

I still don't have any email update. Does anyone know by the end of the Fall 2023 semester? End this weekend?  Anything update ?

I still have not received anything either. I believe the end of their semester is tomorrow.

Nothing for me yet either. 

They said "by the end of the semester", which I would take to mean by tomorrow 12/15/23, since the semester ends on Saturday which is not a business day. Honestly, I have very little confidence that notifications will be sent by the end of the semester since they have already told us many dates that have come and gone. 

I do see that the last working day before the new year is next week 12/20/23 and then they will be off until after the new year so I would like to think that we would be notified by then at least.

Hopefully we can hear anything tomorrow. Need to deceid to go to other Generic ADN progrom's orientation or waiting to this one.?
