Samuel Merritt University (SMU) ABSN Summer 2024

Hi all! Wanted to start a discussion for those who applied for Summer 2024 cohorts at Samuel Merritt so we can support each other. I applied to the Oakland and San Mateo campuses. I'm also excited to hear back if I got in to the Nursing Success Seminar January 2024 program.

Yeah hopefully everyone gets an email from Octa (if its a good thing) but so weird that this is how im finding out before my actual letter of enrollment LOL

@shanaa did you also receive the email at 9pm? And did they send it to your personal email?

I signed up to take two of my prereqs at smu so I already had an account but I dropped those classes back in January so I haven't been on okta. I thought I should check to see if there were any updates on the account since some of us got an email about okta. when I logged in I had a notification posted with todays date saying I was assigned new apps.

I think I'm in too 😭 I checked the financial aid portal and it said " I would like to welcome you to SMU". I just don't know what campus because I applied to Oakland and San Mateo

Okay guys, when I signed up for Octa, I then pressed my name in the top right corner and pressed settings. Through scrolling it said Admitted/current student and that im in the San Mateo April 2025(based on grad year and month) cohort😭

No, go on octa after youve signed up. On the home page press the right corner where it says your name. Press setting and scroll up and down til you see your campus. IDK how to add photos to this thing LOL.
