thank you for your hopefulness! I've been waiting years to get accepted to a nursing program (literally have 4 years of denials LOL) and this is actually the closest I have gotten LOL

My letters were from my current manager, an old manager from a previous job at Chase Bank and a professor from UCSC. You could attach other files and I added one more letter from a previous partner from the bank as well. I started Kaiser in 2022 but transferred to my current position last year in January. I asked my manager about 10 months into the job as well to write me the letter. So even though you work with different pharmacy's, definitely create a relationship with one of the managers to feel comfortable enough to ask them for one. Although you haven't had much time there, I would think you've worked with the managers enough for them to write you one! Let me know if you have more questions. 🥰

 

Wow I am really feeling good about my application now 🥹!! Thank you soo much for the info! I have a little over a year of experience as a PCT so I was a little worried! I also am a hospice volunteer for an almost a year! Like you though, I think my letters of rec are solid, I was holding out for a nurse or FNP but it sounds like the Pediatrician I asked will do! I shadowed him for over 80 hours and we built a really good connection! I also have a professor and employer from my CSU campus and solid pre-reqs! Thank you again Bananaslug!! Ahh!! I am so hyped for you!!🥰

@arc15 @burtorito Yay! Good luck you guys! I just submitted my deposit for my seat today. I'm still hopeful for FNP but am just as excited about the CM program!

hey everyone! I am on the waitlist and I am not sure how I feel about my number. I am at 17, not sure if I should be hopeful or if I should start reapplying. Thoughts?

I would say be safe and reapply since it's not a secured spot yet if people do not give up their seats.

Congrats to everyone that has heard back and those who got their acceptance letters!! I'm still waiting to hear back... but now I'm second guessing my options here I'll probably get a rejection for the ELMSN-FNP program. I didn't even get an invite for an interview.. 

I'll share my stats for some opinions if they'll even consider me

I have all A's based on the pre-req checklist I had with the advisor except for 2 science courses. I submitted my apps with 2 science (physio and micro) courses in progress, I will be done with those courses this May (obviously way before the semester will start for elmsn)

2 LORs submitted on my behalf, one from employer and one from instructor

- I did not attend the Nursing seminar

IDK yall I'm starting to get anxious after reading this thread that everyone's heard back and I haven't gotten one email.
