Samuel Merritt University ELMSN Program - Fall 2024

This is a thread for applicants who applied to Samuel Merritt for the ELMSN program for Fall 2024.

The program is honestly very disorganized...I kept checking the portal after my interviews mid-March for a decision until finally it changed to "accepted" early April. However, I never received an official acceptance email and I couldn't give my Letter of Intent with the deposit via the Portal. I emailed Admissions about not receiving any official acceptance email and they were like "oh I'm sorry let's send that out to you…” and I got the emails and was finally able to give my deposit. I would say you're within your right to be able to send an email to Admissions for an update since it's been a month.

That's odd! For CM they gave us a waitlist number out of 16 or something.

I emailed and got a response that they will be sending out updates this afternoon 🙂 hopefully that helps reassure those in the same boat as me!

Quick question for the fall 2024 cohort! When was your guys class finalized? And do classes usually start in early September? Thanks!

Hi everyone! I'm starting the ELMSN-FNP program for fall 2025, and I was wondering if you guys had any tips for getting started? Do you recommend studying/brushing up on certain topics? Also, any study tips, required materials, etc are appreciated 🙂I haven't been in school for almost 2 years so feeling a little nervous!
