Hey All,

I couldn't find a thread for Samuel Merritt's FNP and CM programs for Fall 2014 entry, so I thought I would start one.

Who here has submitted applications for either of those programs? Did you apply to one or both of the ELMSN programs? Have you considered the ABSN program as well?

I submitted an app for the CM program, and am eager to hear back in coming months.

I also applied to the May cohort in Oakland. Last year they didn't find out until March 22nd I think (what I gathered from the summer 2013 absn thread). I tried reaching the elmsn counselor this afternoon to find out my status (unsuccessfully). I really hope that you're right and they are still deciding. I just find it strange that they would start sending out emails before they are done reviewing everyone's application.

thank you for posting this ayah99! That helps.. I'm frantically checking my email to see if there is any notice. I have not had success trying to reach the ABSN counselor about the admissions decision. From what she tells me (as of last week), there has been no word just yet. I just emailed her again yesterday, and I'm waiting on her response. I think its strange that they will be sending out emails without reviewing everyone's applications as well. I'll let everyone know if I hear anything. Congrats to the CM applicants! It must be a huge relief to be accepted and the waiting to be over.

FNP applicants, you might want to call in and check your status. I called in today and the lady (I didn't catch her name) said emails should've gone out by now. She's resending mine.

Congrats to everyone that has gotten in. I was put on the wait list for the CM program, slot #8. I doubt they will get that far into the wait list so I am considering it a rejection.

So I left a message today with the counselor and she sent me an email dated March 4th (did she forget to send it?) saying that I was waitlisted #36. I'm glad the wait is finally over. It was not fun and I still don't get how they go about notifying people when they apparently aren't even done reviewing applications (the email said my number might shift because they are still reviewing applications).

Anyways, congrats to eveveryone who got in! And for everybody else best of luck on your other applications!

@opx322 after reading your post, i called to find out my status. They said I should have recieved a rejection email a week ago It seems like a lot of emails have gotten lost somehow, so you may want to call if you haven't heard anything yet

Hey CM applicants, do you guys know when we have to submit our deposit by? I only got an acceptance letter via email which told me to submit my deposit but nothing about by when we have to do that by. Also how do we accept our offer? I didn't get any email about letter of intent. Only got two emails-acceptance email and log in information email. Anyone get any other emails abut accepting our offer?
